Is Your Computer Suitable for Windows 11?
Here are the basic system requirements to install Windows 11 on your computer.
- Processor: 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster with at least 2 cores on a compatible 64-bit processor or System on a Chip (SoC). (Examples include Intel Core i3, i5, i7 from the eighth generation onward).
- RAM: 4 gigabytes (GB).
- Storage: A storage device with 64 GB or more.
- System firmware: UEFI, Secure Boot capable.
- TPM: Trusted Platform Module (TPM) version 2.0.
- Graphics card: Compatible with DirectX 12 or later with a WDDM 2.0 driver.
- Display: High definition (720p) display, larger than 9' diagonally, with 8 bits per color channel.
- Internet connection and Microsoft account: For Windows 11 Pro and Windows 11 Home, an internet connection and a Microsoft account are needed during the initial setup.
