How to change the language in Windows 8?

To change the language in Windows 8, follow these steps to install the desired language pack:

  1. Move your mouse to the bottom right corner and select Settings.
  2. Click on Control Panel.
  3. Select Clock, Language, and Region and click on Add a language.
  4. Click on Add a language.
  5. Select your desired language and click Open.
    6. Note: If the language has variants, select Open again to choose your preferred variant.
  6. Click Options next to the language.
  7. Select Download language pack.
  8. The language pack will download and install automatically.
  9. After installation, repeat step six and select Options again.
  10. Select Make this the primary language, log out, and the new language will be applied.
